Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our catering and event management teams in various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, computer literacy, and a customer-focused attitude. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing excellent support to both internal staff and external clients.
Duties
- Manage daily administrative operations and assist with over-the-counter order fulfillment.
- Provide clerical support, including typing documents, filing, and data entry.
- Assist with customer support inquiries via phone and email and ensure timely responses to client needs.
- Handle scheduling for events and assist with staffing coordination.
- Maintain accurate records using software tools such as QuickBooks and Google Workspace.
- Support office management tasks, including inventory management and supply ordering.
- Assist with design of promotional materials.
- Manage daily social media posts.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar clerical role.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Canva, and QuickBooks preferred.
- Experience working in a catering or restaurant environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
- Willingness to work weekends as needed and travel with the catering team to assist with setup and coordination at the event sites.
