FEDITC is seeking a DevOps Engineer to work in the Washington, DC area with potential for working remotely. A United States Citizenship is required to be considered for this position. This is an upcoming opportunity contingent on contract award with a projected start date of January 2025.

- The DevOps Engineer requires 5 years of DevSecOps experience
- Experience using a wide variety of open source and COTS technologies and tools
- Experience automating operations and workflows
- Solid understanding of and experience implementing and integrating CI/CD Tools from the ground up, such as Atlassian (JIRA and Confluence), Github, Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes, Selenium, SonarQube, Gatling, JMeter, JUnit, AMP, aChecker, Jaws, Netsparker, OWASP ZAP, Tenable Nessus, Splunk, Prometheus, CloudWatch, New Relic, Grafana, Slack/Google Hangouts Chat Strong background working in an agile development environment, collaborating with Application Development and Architecture Teams
- Experience with service-oriented architecture, web services, Application Programming Interfaces
- Experience working in a High Availability environment with 99.99% uptime
- Strong background in Amazon Web Service (AWS), MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB Apache, NGINX, PHP
- Comfortable writing deployment scripts in languages such as Python, Shell, AWS Cloud Formation, Groovy, and Golang
- Experience with systems and IT operations
- Comfort with with automated, frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
- Strong grasp of automation tools
- Data management skills
- A strong focus on business outcomes
- Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
- Experience supporting portfolio rationalization, digital transformation, and convergence of IT applications, focusing on Lean, Agile, & value driven approaches, transitioning from traditional monolithic system design and development to common business services and capabilities
- Experience supporting GSA
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
- Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
