We’re looking for a highly motivated and creative Social Media Coordinator to build and manage FEDTC’s social media presence. You will play a key role in shaping our online voice, engaging with our global community, and promoting our events, resources, and educational content.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic social media plan aligned with FEDTC’s goals and branding
- Manage day-to-day posting on platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube
- Create engaging written and visual content to promote initiatives, blogs, member achievements, and events
- Collaborate with video editors, graphic designers, and writers to maintain a consistent content calendar
- Track and report engagement metrics, follower growth, and campaign performance
- Respond to comments, DMs, and community inquiries in a timely, respectful, and energetic manner
- Stay on top of trends in AI, tech education, and digital storytelling
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Later)
- Graphic design/video editing basics (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar)
- A passion for education, AI, and empowering diverse tech communities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of global and cross-cultural communication (a plus!)
