What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Accountant position at Fehr & Peers?
Our Fehr & Peers Corporate office supports offices nationwide and anticipates their needs to support their success. Our Accounting team is seeking a Project Accountant who will be managing client billing, project review and reporting, financial reporting support, and working closely with multiple offices’ project managers. In this role you will be part of our collaborative environment, regular team-bonding events, annual goal setting, cross-training, and ongoing diversity, equity, and inclusion conversations. \n- Client billing for multiple profit centers in a contract management / ERP software environment
- Project review and reporting
- Contractual billing terms review, management, and updates in an ERP system
- Financial reporting in accordance with monthly billing and reporting schedule
- Coordination and collaboration with project managers and coordinators in other offices
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
- Experience in project cost accounting, billing, or corporate accounting preferred
- Knowledge of general accounting principles
- Advanced understanding of Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and graphing
- Proficient use of MS Suite products, such as Word, Outlook, and Adobe
- Experience with Deltek or other ERP software program including report creation and/or options editing
- Perform and learn in a fast-paced environment
- A focus on accuracy and meeting established deadlines
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively using multiple modes of communication
- Effective working in a collaborative environment
- ERP capability exploration and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field (desirable)

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
