POSITION SUMMARY:
The HR Generalist plays a crucial role in supporting the overall HR operations, focusing on recruitment, payroll management, benefits administration, and employee relations. This position ensures that all HR processes are aligned with the company's goals, complies with legal regulations, and supports a positive workplace culture. The HR Generalist will collaborate with management to enhance employee engagement, ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, and handle all aspects of employee relations.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including posting job openings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.
- Oversee payroll administration, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee pay, bonuses, and deductions.
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollment, changes, and terminations, while providing employees with clear information about their options.
- Handle employee relations matters, offering support to both management and employees in resolving workplace concerns and conflicts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Provide guidance and support to management regarding employee performance, disciplinary actions, and workplace policies.
- Assist with the implementation of HR policies and best practices to ensure a fair, inclusive, and productive work environment.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure HR programs align with company goals and promote a positive culture.
- Assist with employee training and development initiatives to help staff grow and succeed within the company.
CAPABILITIES / KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Knowledge of HR best practices, laws, and compliance regulations.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Proficient in payroll software, HRIS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Problem-solving skills to address employee concerns and resolve conflicts.
- Experience in recruitment, onboarding, and benefits administration.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships with management and employees.
- Spanish speaking REQUIRED.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience in HR, with a focus on recruitment, payroll, benefits, and employee relations.
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- Experience with HRIS, payroll, and benefits software is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods while working on a computer or in meetings.
- Occasional lifting of files or materials up to 25 pounds.
