What You Will Be Doing:
- Generate leads in a B2B environment, supported by referrals from established relationships.
- Develop sales strategies and initiatives to improve customer retention and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients.
- Effectively attending conferences and trade shows, travel up to 25%.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for both the company and the client.
- Analyzing customer usage data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products.
- Regularly update and input prospect, customer, key tasks, communication, and lead information for precise forecasting, effective account management, and efficient funnel management.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients.
What You Will Need To Have:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proven experience in outside sales, business development, or related roles.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, presentations, and industry events.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Micro-ingredients industry or B2B sales is a plus.
- Experience with CRM software, (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Experience with ZoomInfo.
- Effective problem-solving abilities and time management skills.
Salary Structure: Base Commission
Base Salary: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
