PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :

  • Leads the development of overall client strategic plans and goals in conjunction with strategy teams.
  • Manages client budgets
  • Leads and manage tactical / brand planning work streams
  • Provides leadership and serves as a role model for team members, providing clear direction, inspiring action, creating growth opportunities and fostering a culture of collaboration across team functions.
  • Supervises and provides overall leadership and direction in recommending short-term and long-range goals and objectives for assigned clients.
  • Responsible for the fiscal management of assigned client budget. Accountable for the development, management and evaluation of operating budget, and for achieving objectives while operating within budgeted expense targets.
  • Ensures that the client and agency comply with all FDA regulations, copyright laws, confidentiality issues and ethical standards within the profession.
  • Responsible for keeping agency leadership informed on the status of accounts, including challenges, opportunities, staffing needs, plans and meetings.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED :

  • 5 years of Account Management experience in a healthcare agency setting
  • Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising or English
  • Exceptional oral and written communications skills, knowledge of marketing techniques and typical agency procedures in order to coordinate effective campaigns and programs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with a variety of internal and external audiences, to propose marketing and communications goals and objectives and to build relationships with clients and stakeholders within clients' organizations
  • Analytical thinking, problem solving and conceptual skills to recommend approaches and methods; to plan, coordinate, and evaluate communications activities; and to prepare reports and analyses
  • Team leader who encourages collaboration and ideation among team members as well as an aggressive and fearless marketer, that is willing to get their hands dirty and do whatever it takes to deliver the highest quality work on behalf of their clients
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint presentation development and Excel, are required
