This position will be responsible to support the Financial Reporting of one legal entity which covers a number of industrial facilities with a focus of responsibilities on of one manufacturing facility and over 50 commercial store-locations.
- Oversee the preparation of supporting documentation and analyses to support the local financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and the group reporting package in accordance with IFRS.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of operational and financial data to support specific areas of the Company.
- Assist in the implement of processes in order to ensure safeguarding of assets and accurate financial information in order for Executive Management to make financial decisions.
- Manage the fixed asset and inventory counting process on a routine basis including adhering to external and internal audit requirements based on accounting standards and Company policies.
- Ensure reasonableness of inventory standard costing and related actual variances for the Company including performing meaningful analyses of costing activities
- Support necessary changes with policies and procedures to support accounting methodologies and compliance objectives.
- Responsible for the month end and year end closing deadlines. Adhering to monthly and year end calendars and coordinating with all departments to ensure deadlines are met.
- Support external and internal audit execution and completion.
- Provide support to ad-hoc projects as needed.
- Manage 2 direct reports.
* Accounting degree preferred, public accounting experience a plus.
* At least 5 years of relevant experience.
* Knowledge and experience in financial and/or management accounting.
* Solid understanding of US GAAP and management reporting.
* Approximately 10-20% of travel within the U.S. to support the one manufacturing facility and over 50 store locations.
* Experience with ERP and reporting systems - SAP and HFM system experience as a plus.
* Ability to communicate with all levels of the Company and have the necessary interpersonal skills to work effectively with different departments.
* Detail oriented, problem solver who can work in a fast-paced environment.
The base salary range for this position is $112,993.00-$150,658.00.Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
