About the Role:
- Coordinate and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to production
- Develop and implement effective training programs for maintenance personnel, focusing on technical skills and safety procedures
- Collaborate with production leaders and other department heads to streamline production processes and improve overall efficiency
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements
- Supervise and train maintenance technicians, parts personnel, and crew leaders to enhance their skills and productivity
- Review and rationalize preventive maintenance procedures, evaluating and maximizing maintenance efficiency in collaboration with support personnel and staff
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist with hiring and training of new team members, ensuring compliance with safety training and enforcing company policies
- Administer evaluations and manage work schedules to optimize resource allocation and minimize downtime
- Manage inventory and PM schedules to ensure seamless maintenance operations
- Lead the maintenance team to meet or exceed regulatory or customer expectations in regards to food safety or quality
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in food manufacturing required, with a strong background in plant operations and maintenance
- Ability to supervise skilled workers, troubleshoot complex issues, and motivate team members under pressure
- Knowledge of industrial tools, test equipment, and computer operations, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills
