What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Coordinator position at FGS?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Account Managers in the preparation of folding mock-ups, inserting signoffs, scanning RTMs, packaging and sending samples to clients, and the creation of job jackets
- Verify job instructions by comparing to client matrix, CM Matrix, mockups, postal regulation color, folds, orientation, component order, paper size, paper type, variable and static imaging
- Signoff on checklist after ensuring jobs are correct according to the job instructions, and various documents provided by the client
- Maintain current knowledge of various postal regulations and ensure that all jobs meet the applicable standards
Qualifications:
- Highly organized, detailed oriented and good communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to multi-task within a customer service environment, able to work well with co-workers
- Fast learner, with strong problem-solving skills, able to work with minimal supervision
- Working knowledge of office equipment, basic PC skills including Microsoft products
- Must know USPS regulations related to self-mailers and letters
- Basic math skills including working with fractions and decimals, able to read a ruler down to 1/32 of an inch
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in the Direct Mail or Print industry preferred, but not required
