- 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: Monday - Thursday 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (must initially train on 1st Shift)

DUTIES
- Before beginning work each day, check to make sure all guards are in good repair and in their proper locations.
- Check the production schedule for the products to be run and get the spec sheet for the style that is to run.
- Set up blend line parameters: drop weight, fiber to hopper assignment, apron speeds etc.
- Set feed rolls, lapper, oven temperature and line apron speeds according to spec sheet.
- Pick and clean fiber build up from equipment using correct tools.
- Monitor blendline and periodically verify the blendline drop weights.
- Control and minimize waste heavy/lights.
- Conducts all necessary products testing and takes immediate corrective action if product is found to be non-conforming.
- Maintains proper general maintenance of the line.
- Cleans the line as required during scheduled line cleanups and on a daily basis.
- Fill in for other positions as needed (e.g., blendline, etc.).
- Follow all safety rules and procedures including Lock Out Tag Out.
- Wear required PPE, safety glasses, and hearing protection etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Manufacturing experience: 1 year (Required)
- Machine Operator experience: 1 year (Required)
- Non-woven experience (Preferred)
- Good math and measuring skills
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and specific customer reference document
- General knowledge of operation of the line
- General knowledge of products produced on the line
- Mechanical aptitude
- Leadership skills
- Good communication skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Must be able to work well with others, have a cooperative attitude and work effectively
- Possesses the ability to bend, stoop, and lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to walk and stand for an entire shift, 12 hours, depending on assigned shift
