FieldBridge Energy is looking for a Senior Materials Specialist to work for a global leader in gases. Get paid every week benefits. The job is in Pasadena, TX.
Pay / Schedule: Up to $29.5/hr (DOE), Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, fully on-site.
This role is focused on managing inventory and procurement processes within a warehouse environment using ERP systems. The position requires the ability to handle complex inventory tasks such as order management, vendor communication, and troubleshooting receipt or payment issues. The role is integral in maintaining optimal stock levels, resolving vendor-related problems, and ensuring a seamless flow of materials to support field operations. Key responsibilities include running inventory reports, creating purchase requisitions, tracking shipments, managing blanket purchase orders, and facilitating accurate and timely fulfillment of work orders. The candidate will also contribute to safety initiatives, participate in physical inventory counts, and support special projects as needed.
Key Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent - Minimum educational requirement, though a college degree is preferred.
- Intermediate Excel Proficiency - Must be comfortable using advanced Excel functions such as vlookups, pivot tables, and data verification across multiple sheets.
- Experience with ERP Systems - Familiarity with ERP systems like Oracle or SAP for inventory and order management is required. Knowledge of MRP is a plus.
- Inventory and Asset Management - Proven experience in managing and maintaining inventory, including resolving vendor issues and monitoring warehouse operations.
- Strong Communication and Customer Service Skills - Ability to interface effectively with vendors, field personnel, and internal departments to address inventory and order-related inquiries.
