THE POSITION
Main Activities and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Venue Media Manager; Media Operations Cluster Manager, the Venue Media Coordinator will be a key member of the FIFA Club World Cup 25 Media Operations and Services team and will work in close collaboration with the Venue Media Manager and FIFA Media Officers and other key individuals responsible for delivering all media operations within a designated stadium during a FIFA tournament, ensuring smooth access and functionality for journalists, broadcasters, and photographers by managing media areas, coordinating accreditation, facilitating communication with media representatives:
- Assist Venue Media Manager with the setup, delivery and management of media dedicated areas.
- Oversee media areas, ensuring all facilities are fully operational.
- Prepare and present key information for media related to the assigned venue, including transport, catering, flows and technology provision.
- Provide on-site support to media representatives, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Manage and distribute media tickets using the media ticketing software.
- Main focal point for media to resolve any issues with media ticketing requests.
- Manage distribution of bibs from the help desks to media, inc. photographers.
- Ensure the smooth execution of media operations during matches and other events.
- Support the Venue Media Manager in managing media inquiries and requests.
- Support the Venue Media Manager and FIFA Media Officers in managing the post-match media activities.
- Monitor media activities to ensure adherence to FIFA regulations and venue policies.
- Support in handling media-related incidents or emergencies.

Experience
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business administration, management, leadership, entrepreneurship)
- Football (soccer) accreditation knowledge is a plus.
- Willingness to work outside core working hours
- Experience in media operations at sports events (e.g., previous tournaments, leagues, or major competitions)
- Strong knowledge of media workflows, including media ticketing, accreditation, and press operations
- Familiarity with media protocols or comparable international sports federations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage media representatives, volunteers, and internal teams
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Comfort with technology platforms used in media management (media ticketing systems, accreditation tools, scheduling software)
- Ability to work under pressure in high-stakes live environments
- Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
