Reporting organisationally to the Director of Brand & Marketing, the Marketing Manager will be a key member of the FIFA26 Commercial Operations team, and work in close collaboration with the FIFA HQ Commercial team and other key individuals responsible for delivering comprehensive marketing strategies to maximize global reach, enhance brand visibility, drive ticket sales, secure sponsorship deals, and engage fans across various channels and platforms, under the guidance of the Head of Brand Marketing. Further, this role will oversee brand positioning, advertising strategies, digital and social media marketing, content creation, public relations, market research, and analytics when assisting the Head of Brand Marketing.

THE POSITION
The main responsibilities and oversights of the Marketing Manager for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:  
  • Implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns to promote the FIFA World Cup 2026, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate the creation and implementation of advertising campaigns across multiple channels, including television, radio, print, digital, and social media, targeting global audiences.
  • Manage the development of the tournament's brand identity and positioning, ensuring a strong and compelling brand presence throughout all marketing materials and touchpoints in collaboraton with all internal departments.
  • Manage the digital marketing efforts, including website development, social media management, content creation, SEO, SEM, and email marketing, website presense, fifa app, to enhance online visibility and engagement.
  • Identify and secure strategic sponsorships and partnerships to generate revenue, enhance brand exposure, and support tournament initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to develop compelling content, including videos, graphics, articles, and interactive experiences, to engage fans and drive excitement around the tournament.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape, informing marketing strategies and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and optimize marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with international football associations, government entities, and other stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and alignment of marketing activities.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing, leveraging new opportunities to enhance the FIFA World Cup 2026's marketing efforts and overall success.

YOUR PROFILE
  • Bachelor’s Degree or similar level of education in Marketing, etc.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in marketing functions, preferably within the sports industry
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both oral and written
  • Highly creative and initiative-taking
  • Positive attitude, patience, and persistence
  • Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
