Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee evaluation, and compliance with Federal and State regulations. You will be responsible for fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring that our HR practices support the overall goals of the company.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department and company.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the HR department and certain administrative roles in the company.
- Provides constructive and timely performance feedback to employees along with their managers in the company.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy and state and federal law.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Provides support and guidance to management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
- Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for skilled trades, managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned in support of company goals.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- A minimum of five years of human resource management experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
Job Type:
- Full-time, 4 days/week in office
Pay:
- $80,000 - $90,000
