Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager / Facilities Manager to oversee and manage Multi-Function Support Services (MFSS) at three government locations in Miami, West Palm Beach and Dania Beach. This role requires leadership in planning, executing, and delivering comprehensive facility investment, custodial, pest control, integrated solid waste management, grounds maintenance, and landscaping services. The ideal candidate will ensure contract compliance, operational efficiency, and exceptional service delivery in a performance-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership, planning, and execution of all Multi-Function Support Services (MFSS) as outlined in the contract.
  • Oversee and manage all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and incidental engineering required for service delivery.
  • Ensure full compliance with contract performance requirements, government regulations, and safety standards.
  • Supervise, mentor, and direct staff, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program for facility investment and infrastructure.
  • Manage custodial, pest control, solid waste management, and landscaping services to maintain high operational standards.
  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, and performance metrics, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with the government client and ensure responsive and professional communication.
  • Develop and present reports, documentation, and updates to stakeholders on project progress and contract performance.
  • Utilize performance-based contracting methodologies to achieve optimal results and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve operational challenges, risks, and compliance issues promptly.
  • Support contract modifications, negotiations, and proposal submissions as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management or facilities management in a government or commercial setting.
  • Proven track record in managing performance-based contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of facility investment, custodial, pest control, waste management, and grounds maintenance services.
  • Experience working with government contracts and understanding of NAICS Code 561210 regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to obtain security clearance if required by the government contract.
  • PMP, FMP, or CFM certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with DoD, or other military/government facilities is a plus.
  • Familiarity with government procurement processes.
  • Experience in managing subcontractors and vendor relationships.
  • Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
