Drive Business Growth as an Operations Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to lead our retail store and outdoor center in Salem, SC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, supervising staff, and developing strategies to drive business growth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of retail and rental staff to deliver exceptional customer service and high levels of performance.
- Train new employees, provide ongoing coaching and development, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Bulk and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster repeat business and loyalty.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand food and drink offerings at the store.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality, timely deliveries, and cost control.
- Manage inventory, including stock ordering, restocking, and record-keeping.
- Promote a family-friendly environment that welcomes all guests.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a management role, preferably in hospitality or sales.
- Experience with food and beverage operations is a plus.
- Able to work 5-6 days a week during peak season (60 hours per week), with occasional overtime at time and a half.
