Our client, a dealer of material handling equipment, is hiring a Sales Support Representative for their Raleigh territory selling to new and existing customers. This role is primary focused on new business as well as supporting existing accounts in your territory.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the sales of maintenance agreements as well as new and used equipment.
- Prospect new business and travel within sales territory
- Identify and develop rapport with companies to ensure purchasing
- Work with team members and departments to resolve customer issues
- Analyze sales territories to determine where product sales are needed and improve market share within sales territory
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience in a similar or related industry
- Experience cold calling and building relationships by phone and email to generate new business
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to remain persistent and overcome customer objections
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- General understanding of the sales CRM system
- High sense of urgency with the ability to multi-task
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base plus commission
- Expected total comp first year 65-85k
