We are looking for a well-rounded, creative and passionate candidate to join our team with the primary focus of amplifying the visibility of the Subaru Love Promise and improving Findlay Subaru of Las Vegas’s local growth through events that effectively communicate the Subaru Love Promise and its causes and passions. Candidate will assist in developing, maintaining, and executing a portfolio of strategic partnerships and events on a local scale, planning and overseeing events and event calendar, event marketing, while delivering on event objectives for Findlay Subaru of Las Vegas. The partnerships and events support Subaru brand goals by providing unique Subaru experiences that build brand equity, drive consideration, and increase owner loyalty. Use of these experiences and partnerships are to demonstrate the Subaru Love Promise, show support of Subaru owner passion points, and create memorable consumer journey touch points. Candidate will take responsibility of Findlay Subaru of Las Vegas social media channels for the purpose of marketing events, the Subaru brand, and the retailer’s brand and offerings. This is a full-time hourly position schedule, Monday to Friday, but will also include weekends or evenings as required by event schedule. Pay will be commensurate with experience.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Assist in executing and tracking marketing initiatives and activities

Maintain online submissions of local Love Promise Stories

Maintain and strengthen the overall brand through all media avenues

Develop and lead engaging experiential marketing series with partners and third-party event vendors that resonate with our customers and target audiences, support Subaru vehicle launches, showcase our vehicles, and integrate the Subaru Love Promise

Oversee all event operations under the direction of the Marketing Director

Brainstorm and implement event plans and concepts

Understand the requirements and details of each event

Assist in handling the logistics of event execution and in securing event partners/sponsors as well as necessary paperwork

Conduct short and long-term planning and organization for events

Serve as on-the-ground support and fulfilling day-to-day administration of events, activities and volunteers

Maintain responsibility for lead generation at events

Evaluate events’ success and create post-event reports

Ensure that partnerships are mutually beneficial and strategically support Findlay Subaru of Las Vegas business and marketing objective

Apply continuous improvement to existing projects and partners by finding more significant Return on Investment (ROI) from partnerships, leveraging all partner benefits, exploring new mutual benefits, and finding greater efficiencies

Serve as a conduit of information between Findlay Subaru of Las Vegas, our partners and the public. On-camera event interviews and social media appearances will be frequent

Ensure that events and partnerships (including partnership stories) are shared and promoted via Findlay Subaru of Las Vegas-owned communications via Relationship Marketing, Social Media, Internal Communications, and Website Operations

Create content and maintain consistent posts on all social media platforms to highlight events, the Subaru brand and Findlay Subaru of Las Vegas

Assist in planning and production of relevant broadcast spots and longer form content for social media, in-store and internal distribution

Assist with design elements when creating promotional materials

Cycle and maintain up-to-date POP marketing materials
Qualifications / Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Communications preferred, or minimum four years relative work experience

Project coordination experience

Ability to effectively multitask and successfully prioritize tasks and deadlines

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills

Superb written and verbal communication skills

Critical thinker with strong problem solving and research proficiency

Ability to comprehend and interpret media and marketing strategies

Experience with non-profits, cause marketing, brand partnerships, contract negotiations, or experience related to these areas

Proficiency with social media platforms and business friendly social media marketing practices

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite or other creative software

Some video production and non-linear editing experience

Will occasionally require ability to lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods
