i9 Sports Greater Phoenix is hiring T-Ball/Coach Pitch Instructors!
i9 Sports of Greater Phoenix (www.i9sports.com) is looking for energetic, personable, and hardworking T-Ball/Coach-Pitch Baseball Instructors. As an i9 Sports T-Ball/Coach-Pitch Baseball Instructor, you will be a key person in fulfilling our goal: "Helping Kids Succeed in Life through Sports". Our T-Ball/Coach-Pitch Baseball Instructors should have coaching experience, as well as experience working with kids. The i9 Sports league focuses on building fundamentals and learning the game in the most enjoyable way possible - creating a safe and fun environment for all participants. The position is needed for Saturdays and/or Sundays during the Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer Seasons for up to 4-6 hours depending on the number of registrants per season. The T-Ball/Coach-Pitch Baseball Instructor will create and facilitate weekly practice plans and assist with officiating games for all ages groups (3-9).
The compensation for this position is based on experience. This is a part-time position on either Saturday and/or Sundays. Hours will vary depending on the location.
Duties/Responsibilities for the T-Ball Instructor:
- Assist with the setup/takedown of the fields at the venue
- Organize, plan, and run practices/games for a specific team and/or group of teams/players
- Communicate weekly with volunteer coaches, participants, and league owners
- Assist with the officiating/coaching of the games
- Teach both skills and sportsmanship values while assuring a fun program for participants
- Work with Assistant Coaches on drills
Requirements:
- Must be Reliable, Professional, and Responsive
- Must be Outgoing, Friendly, Energetic and Enthusiastic
- Must be Warm, Empathetic, Patient, and Consistent
- Must have an in-depth knowledge of Baseball and have coached for a minimum of 1 year
- Must have superior customer service skills
- Must have reliable transportation, cell phone, & web/email address
- The candidate will need to pass a Background Check
- Must be willing to work in Glendale, North Phoenix, North Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Avondale, Laveen or Ahwatukee
