POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of Nutritional Services is responsible for leading all aspects of food service operations at Finger Lakes Health’s Geneva, New York campus.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

Minimum:
-
Associates degree with related Food Service Management experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Food Service management or related field.

Preferred:
-
Master’s Degree;
-
Courses in food and nutrition, personnel management or supervisory training

LICENSE: -
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:-
Preferred:

Certification as a Dietician or Dietician/Nutritionist in New York State

WORK EXPERIENCE:-
Minimum:
-
5 years of food service experience with at least three (3) years of progressive leadership experience in a food service setting

Preferred:

Food service management experience in a healthcare setting is strongly desired.

SKILLS:-
Minimum:

Must have a proven track record of developing and implementing programs that have resulted in customer service improvements and a high level of customer satisfaction.

The candidate must possess strong financial and project management skills and be able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and enhance teamwork through effective role modeling.

The position requires excellent coaching, communication and organizational skills.

He/she must be familiar with NYSDOH and other food service regulations.

Computer literacy required with word processing, spreadsheets, and electronic presentations.
