PAY: $17.00-$18.00 Per Hour

HOURS / SHIFT: 1 Shift- 6:00AM- 2:30PM -M-F

Description

Initiate set-up, run, troubleshoot, changeover of a piece of equipment that the employee is going to run. Collection of production data and production samples for statistical and quality programs. To ensure all activities are handled in accordance with Finlay’s mission, business philosophy, ethics, and goals.

Responsibilities

• Operate filler, label and/or packaging equipment on production line.
• Troubleshoot problems.
• Communicate any issues to team lead or supervisor.
• Clean equipment after running daily.
• Gather and maintain the required materials, bottles, caps, tape, boxes, labels.
• General housekeeping, removal of trash, clean work area.
• Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and safety standards.
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and written.
• Must be a team player, flexible and have good time management skills.
• Must be quality conscious and detail oriented.
• Must be able to work overtime or start earlier hours as needed.
• Mechanically inclined and understand the production process.
  
  

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Required to stand or walk up to 100% of duty time.
• Requires some bending, stooping and repetitive motion.
• Ability to lift or push/pull weights upwards of 75 pounds.
• Able to work in a wet, humid and hot environment.
• Moderate noise level.
