Position Summary:
The Rental Manager will oversee the use and rentals of church facilities, including the building, grounds, and parking lot.
Essential Functions:
- Coordinate the application process for building users and parking tenants
- Serve as the primary contact for building and parking tenants, including for facility related emergencies, which may require evening and weekend work
- Conduct regular audits of parking renters, ensuring timely payments are being made, vehicle and license plate information is kept up to date, and tenants are displaying assigned parking tags
- Conduct regular audits of building users, ensuring payments of long-term renters are being made per their respective contracts
- Send billing statements and payment due reminders to short-term and long-term building and parking tenants
- Learn to use FBC's Ekklesia e360 database system to keep accurate records of renter information, payments, and scheduled events.
- Oversee and provide event coordination. Ensure proper scheduling of set up, take down, and A/V needs for rentals, meetings, special events, weddings, memorial services, etc.
- Manage building access by distributing and collecting keys and key fobs to/from building users. When needed, collaborate with Administrative Assistant to provide building access to contractors
- Ensure building is locked and secure following major events
- Collaborate with volunteer facilities team and Building and Grounds Committee to address any repair issues, cleaning needs, and safety concerns
- Recruit new parking and building tenants
- Maintain and update rental application and agreement.
- Collaborate with Pastor and the Board of Trustees to initiate new building use contracts and annual contract renewals
- Suggest edits to the Use Our Space section of the website. Collaborate with Pastor or webmaster to implement suggestions
- Other tasks, as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications and Experience:
- High School graduate or equivalent work-related experience
- Strong computer skills with a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs and familiarity with Adobe, Mailchimp, and Canva.
- Capable of coordinating multiple tasks and adjusting to the changing priorities, meeting deadlines, and scheduling of a growing church
- Ability to recruit and train others so the church is fully equipped to respond to any need pertaining to rentals
- Experience with electronic file storage and familiarity with cloud storage systems such as Google Drive or Drop Box.
- Proficiency in the use of standard office tools (computer and keyboard, phone system, multi-function copier, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience with managing building users a plus
- Must be able to pass background check and complete child protection training yearly
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
