Media Director

MEDIA DIRECTOR

First Baptist Church of Columbia, TN is seeking a full time Media Director. This person will primarily be responsible for all campus multimedia teams and equipment. If experienced, this person may also be responsible for overseeing various forms of electronic communication including website, app, social media, etc.

FBC Columbia is located south of Nashville. Our county is exploding with growth, so we want to reach as many people as possible for Christ through effective communication both inside and outside the church family. Interested applicants can send resumes to info@firstbaptistcolumbia.org.

Duties:

• Management of worship venues, classroom, and office technologies including audio, video, lighting, computers, printers, monitors, etc.
• Responsible for ensuring livestream functionality and quality.
• Responsible for enlisting/training/scheduling tech team volunteers.
• Responsible for inventory, maintenance, and upgrading of technology and communications equipment.
• Possible management of internet communications including website, church app, and social media platforms.
• Any other duties that are assigned by the Senior Pastor, Executive Pastor, and Worship Pastor (in relation to worship services).

Competencies:

• Familiar with the setup and use of digital audio, video, and lighting hardware.
• Familiar with the use and implementation of presentation software, including ProPresenter, Planning Center, Vista Lighting, and live-streaming technology such as OBS, Restream, Resi, etc.
• Ability to communicate well, collaborate with others, and lead volunteers.
• Willingness to learn and receive training in new areas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
