Requirements :
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a proven track record in customer service and public relations. Proficiency in basic computer, data entry and typing skills is required.
Must demonstrate a positive attitude, a professional image, and be self-motivated and have the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. This position requires handling confidential matters, ensuring that all information is held in the strictest confidence.
Essential Functions :
- Represents the Credit Union with a friendly, positive, and professional manner greeting members and guests as they enter the facility and during their visit.
- Lead in dealing with unauthorized visitors by involving members of management and law enforcement when appropriate.
- As needed, record guest names and issue access passes (may include meeting packets) to visitors and direct them to their appropriate destinations.
- Learns to recognize member's needs for services, and presents and refers them appropriately.
- Answers incoming phone calls and correspondence, provides general information and directs specific questions to the appropriate departments.
- Receive and temporarily store packages and deliveries including notifying appropriate departments, as needed; includes sorting and the distribution of daily mail.
- Responds to members’ requests, problems, and complaints, and / or directs them to the proper person for specific information and assistance.
- Assists in special assignments for Administration which requires researching and collecting information needed to complete projects and reports.
- Assists in editing and maintaining all approved policies and manuals, ensuring accuracy, completeness and the availability of the most current information.
- Assists in the coordination of special events for staff, Board of Directors and / or Supervisory Committee members.
- Assists with setup for meetings utilizing Skype, Webinars, etc., issuing information or invitations, coordinating speakers, and scheduling management.
- Compiles documents for travel-related reimbursements and reports.
- Coordinates repairs of office equipment and oversees supply orders for the operational needs of the organization.
- Represents the Credit Union with honesty, integrity and trust at all times.
- Adheres to established internal policies and procedures for compliance. Completes required compliance training in a timely manner and complies with all regulations within scope of the position.
- Adheres to the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, USA PATRIOT Act and anti-money laundering regulations.
- Accurately completes Currency Transaction Reports, follows internal procedures to report suspicious activity to the BSA Department, and collects required information to comply with the Customer Identification / Due Diligence Program and to meet other record keeping requirements defined by the Bank Secrecy Act.
