Job Description
Summary:
The IT Help Desk role is to assist with maintaining a stable operation of the in-house computer network. This includes installing, maintaining and supporting, all network hardware, software, and communication links. The individual will also help resolve end user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training where required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with administration of desktop, servers and network
- Troubleshoot computer equipment including desktop, laptop, server, printer, monitors, telephones and other peripherals
- Reimage and upgrade existing desktops, install business applications, deploy to branch and departments
- Travel to branch locations as needed for support and maintenance of IT equipment
Qualifications
• High School Diploma/GED, Some College Preferred
• Credit Union Experience Preferred
• Computer Science Major or IT Minor
• Minimum 6 months of related experience in support and maintenance, upgrading, all computer equipment and troubleshooting operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Previous experience in banking or financial industry helpful
• Able to communicate clearly and accurately in verbal and written format with the ability to interact in a pleasant and professional manner with internal and external personnel at all levels.
• Solid analytical reasoning along with problem solving skills
• Attention to detail and thorough follow up skills
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; walk; stand; use hands; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and 10 pounds frequently. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and a majority of the day is spent at the computer.
• Ability to organize time and resources and set priorities to accomplish multiple tasks.
• Must be available to work Saturday's
