IT Help Desk Intern
Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and jump into the fast-paced world of IT? VNA Health Group is looking for a motivated, tech-curious Help Desk Intern who’s eager to learn, solve problems, and make a real difference in how our organization runs day-to-day. You will be responsible for providing first-level technical support to end users across the organization. This role is responsible for assisting with troubleshooting hardware and software issues, responding to service requests, and maintaining IT systems and equipment under the guidance of senior IT staff. The intern will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced technical environment, develop problem-solving skills, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the IT support function.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Be the first line of defense: provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
Jump into our Microsoft 365 migration: assist users, transition data, and support adoption of apps like Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.
Keep things moving: manage help desk tickets, solve what you can, and escalate when needed.
Build knowledge: document solutions to common tech issues to help others (and future you!).
Set up success: assist with onboarding/offboarding, including account creation and device setup.
Support tech across the org: maintain IT equipment, manage inventory, and troubleshoot devices.
Help launch Intune organization-wide for secure mobile and laptop management.
Learn by doing: shadow IT pros and explore system administration, cybersecurity, and network support.
Qualifications
What You Bring:
Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
A basic understanding of computers, mobile devices, and common tech tools.
Familiarity with Windows OS and Microsoft 365 is a plus (but not required).
Strong communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and solid organization.
Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and grow in a real-world tech environment.
