Job Summary
The Post Closing Analyst is responsible for handling post-closing mortgage loan document verification, analysis of investor suspense conditions, validating system data entry as compared to mortgage loan documents, and conducting follow-up document tracking with other departments and Title Companies to ensure a timely funding of the loan.
Responsibilities
•Manage a post-closing pipeline with multiple investors
•Review loans that have been suspended by investors, clearing conditions, and ensuring efficient loan sale
•Run, review and analyze DU, LPA and other AUS results to determine loan eligibility and documentation needs
•Communicate with investors and agencies regarding suspense items, timelines, and problem resolution
•Ensure timely resolution within 30 days of consummation for outstanding closing defects
•Work with Loan Officers, Processors, Underwriters, settlement agents etc., as needed
•Comply with documentation needs meeting specific investor requirements
•Use excellent communication skills to interact, support, articulate interpretation of a credit decision or suspense condition to staff and third parties
•Remain current on and adhere to all regulatory required training
•All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
•High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred
•Basic knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA and bond program guidelines and requirements
•Basic knowledge of mortgage banking, underwriting, and closing policies and procedures
•Knowledge of basic mortgage forms and documents
•Experience with Encompass LOX is a plus
•Experience with FHA and VA insuring a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
