Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various heavy equipment and commercial vehicles, particularly in construction environments. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of machinery on construction sites, contributing to the successful completion of projects.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as asphalt paver, skid loaders, dump trucks, rollers on construction sites.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in the paving process by transporting materials and operating machinery as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other crew members regarding project progress and equipment status.
Experience
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with asphalt paver, skid loaders, dump trucks and rollers.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices.
- Previous work experience on construction sites is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques is a plus.
- Ability to operate various types of machinery safely and efficiently.
- Asphalt paving: 1 year (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Home daily
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
