Nursery Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Attendant to provide care for infants to 4 years of age in a church nursery setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children.

Duties

• Educate and engage children through age-appropriate activities and play.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for all children, adhering to church policies.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's needs.
• Must be regularly available Sunday mornings from 8:15am - noon and Wednesday evenings from 6:15pm - 8:30pm and other times as needed for events.

Experience
Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in the following areas:

• Physical, emotional, and spiritual care of infants and children.
• Appropriate behavior management techniques tailored for various age groups.
• Previous experience in childcare, caregiving, or special education in a church setting is highly desirable.
• MinistrySafe certified or ability to gain certification (course provided by church) and pass background check.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
