Join the First National Bank of River Falls’ (FNBRF) team as a Mortgage Specialist!
Support all areas of mortgage administration as needed through efficient use of the mortgage processing system, Encompass. Work closely with borrowers to service mortgage loans ensuring the best customer experience possible. Assist with processing and closing of mortgage loans within loan program guidelines.
- Servicing : Manage loan payments, escrow accounts, and borrower communications on behalf of the Bank. Ensure taxes and insurance are paid. Provide customer support while processing loan modifications compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Processing : Obtain all necessary documentation for compliance and disclosure purposes for both Secondary and in-house mortgages. Collect data from borrowers. Order credit reports, flood certification, verifications of employment and deposits, appraisals, and title work as necessary. Review files for missing or erroneous information.
- Closing : Ensure all closing conditions are satisfied and executed according to closing instructions. Balance the closing disclosure with title company. Prepare and send closing package to title company. Execute the transfer of lender funds for disbursement and complete accounting functions associated with closing.

Who’s right for the job?
A driven, friendly individual experienced in mortgage loan processing, closing, and servicing. Encompass software experience a plus. A keen eye for detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are imperative. You must enjoy helping others. And, your desire to exceed customer expectations is vital to our mission and success too.
Required qualifications?
High school diploma / equivalent and mortgage processing, closing, and servicing experience is required.
Hours?
Monday through Friday, 8 am-5 pm. Overtime is likely in low rate / high volume situations.
