What are the responsibilities and job description for the Employee Records and Reporting Specialist position at First National Bank Texas?
- Assist internal customers with general inquiries, department procedures, and Human Resources policies
- Assist internal departments with employee document requests
- Prepare and respond to employment verification requests
- Organize and submit new hire paperwork
- Prepare and process weekly new hire onboarding
- Manage and maintain both digital and physical employee files according to department policy and procedure
- Prepare employment separation documents
- Review employee documentation for accuracy and required approvals
- Data entry of employee records
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with employees and management
- Work closely with Employee Relations Manager on a daily basis to assist with general HR related inquiries
- Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality
- Assist with special projects as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Position level is dependent upon internal and external experience
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a sitting stationary position for extended periods of time
- Constantly operate a computer and other office machinery
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Two years of business experience in an administrative setting
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information
- Extensive data entry experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
- Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) / Applicant Tracking System (ATS) experience preferred
- Must possess a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work on an individual basis
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to compose professional business email communications
- Must be able to multi-task and manage a heavy workload with the capability to be detailed oriented
- Must present self in a professional manner
- Must successfully pass background investigation according to company policy
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work effectively in a team environment
