What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Assistant position at First Presbyterian Church?
Duties:
· Maintain areas by daily cleaning to include bathrooms, classrooms, chapel, sanctuary, fellowship hall, and reception hall.
· Assists team with setup and break down of events.
· Police outside of building to include picking up of litter, making sure all doors are secure, and removing unwanted visitors.
· Light maintenance to include some painting, plumbing, drywall repair, and other maintenance items.
Hours:
· 24 hours a week, rotation of Sunday shifts.
· Monday through Friday unless you work Sunday, then it’s Sunday through Thursday.
· 8am to 12pm would be normal schedule unless other hours are needed.
· All church holidays would be paid.
· PTO to be discussed at interview
Salary:
· $13.00 an hour
