Responsible for daily/monthly review and working with other departments of the bank to clear items held in departmental reports and general ledger accounts.
Primary contact to assist in customer inquiries on loans.
· Provides loan information support to customers and branch staff.
· Quote loan payoffs as requested.
· Processes daily paid off loans. Prepares paid documentation to be sent for recordings and for customer records.
· Assists with daily review and clearing of entries in GL loan accounts.
· Assists in processing of incoming and outgoing mail.
· Records liens with county, state and other government agencies as needed for loan collateral lien perfection.
· Reviews a variety of departmental reports, including file maintenance accuracy.
· Updating information in core system as needed.
· Assist Auditors and Examiners as requested.
· Cross-markets financial institution products and services as appropriate.
· Assist customers either in person or by phone as needed.
· Responsible for being compliant with all regulations and compliance requirements pertaining to job function.
· Assists in other areas of the department as needed due to employee vacations or absences.
· Carry out such other duties as may be assigned or requested.
Job Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Basic knowledge and ability to operate standard office equipment such as calculators, fax machines and copiers.
· Good computer skills with working knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing programs.
· Good understanding of financial institutions products and services.
· Good working knowledge of other departments in the bank as they relate to loan administration operations.
· Good customer service skills
