Key Responsibilities:
1. **Operational Management: **
- Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring efficient and effective production processes.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and other relevant quality manufacturing systems.
2. **Continuous Improvement: **
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles to optimize processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
- Manage non-conformance reports and corrective preventive action processes.
3. **Team Leadership: **
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of supervisors, engineers, and production staff to achieve operational excellence.
- Promote a safe and healthy work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
4. **Financial Management: **
- Develop and manage plant budgets, ensuring cost control and profitability.
5. **Customer Focus:
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and customer service teams to ensure customer requirements are met and exceeded.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in metal fabrication and a leadership role for more than five years.
- Strong background in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
- Extensive experience with ISO standards and quality management systems.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in manufacturing software tools.
