What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toddlers and Threes Teacher position at First Step Child Development Center?
Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and a strong background in early childhood education, however we are always willing to train any level of experience. The ideal availability for this position is 6:30 am - 5:45 pm. Hours range from 35 - 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Follow and implement engaging lesson plans that promote the intellectual and social development of children Older ones - 2 years old.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure each child is reaching their developmental milestones
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom conducive to learning
- Incorporate activities that promote creativity, exploration, and play
Experience
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare, childcare, or educational setting is preferred but not required
- Certification in CPR / first aid is a plus
- Experience in toddler care, babysitting, or special education is advantageous
- Ability to educate and inspire young learners to reach their full potential
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
