Workplace Coordinator/Event Coordinator
Location: New York City Broadway/Manhattan

Position Overview:
Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (flexibility for later events required).
Schedule:
No weekend work.
On average, 4 events per month may require staying late for setup or breakdown.
Early morning and break coverage needed.
Overtime (OT) is currently being offered.
Responsibilities:
Event and food setup and breakdown.
Supporting team during events.
Potential involvement in new hire orientation (script and materials provided).
Using visitor management systems to track vendors and visitors (training provided).
Key Qualifications:
Bilingual (English/Spanish): Very important for communication with janitorial staff and Spanish-speaking employees.
Technical Skills: Must be tech-savvy (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack).
Office Experience: Previous experience in an office environment required.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (preferred, not mandatory). Tasks may involve moving furniture and boxes.
Preferred Backgrounds:
Experience in tech, restaurant, or customer service industries.
Candidates with office administrative experience or 3 years of relevant experience.
Ability to handle physical components of the role.
Additional Information:
Environment: Candidate will interact more with the internal team than the business side.
Duration: Approved for a 6-month contract with the potential for full-time conversion.
