We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team in delivering exceptional food service to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff during busy periods.
- Ensure that all kitchen utensils and equipment are properly cleaned and stored after use.
- Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with banquet service operations is beneficial.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions from kitchen staff.
