Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all patrons receive outstanding service while efficiently managing their orders and needs.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Aloha POS system or cash register.
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions regarding food preparation, ingredients, and dietary restrictions.
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation meets our high standards.
- Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, addressing any concerns or requests in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are prepared according to health regulations.
- Utilize OpenTable for managing reservations and seating arrangements effectively.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food service or food industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS systems or similar cash register systems is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items as necessary.
