As a Home Care Coordinator at FirstLight, you will ensure high-quality service by liaising with both caregivers and clients. You will manage all areas of organizational operations, supervise client services and caregivers, and directly interface with clients and family members.
What You’ll Do
- Foster and sustain positive relationships with clients, their families, prospective clients, caregivers, prospective employees, colleagues, and referral sources.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, caregivers, and nurses
- Manage the caregiver’s day-to day schedule, ensuring consistent caregiver-to-client assignments
- Assign caregivers to new clients and open shifts on existing cases
- Review and adjust schedules daily to ensure payroll and invoicing accuracy
- Meet with potential clients and their families to discuss care options.
- Ensure your direct supervisor is informed of caregiver availability
- Manage client intake process, handle reception, filing, and other general office duties.
- Ensure introductions between clients and caregivers for every new client and every new caregiver.
- Oversee the hiring process for caregivers and manage orientation/onboarding
- Work closely with caregivers to provide support, coaching and ongoing training
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Perform other functions as deemed appropriate by the management team.
