Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with daily living activities for clients.
- Support clients with dementia and memory care needs, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Monitor clients' health by observing and reporting any changes in their condition.
- Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders as needed.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
- Develop trusting relationships with clients and their families to foster a supportive environment.
- Maintain accurate records of client care and progress for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of patient care techniques, including dementia and memory care.
- Excellent observation skills to monitor patients' conditions effectively.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others live independently.
- Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation as needed.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and families.
