Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs to ensure clients' health and safety.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Administer medication reminders as prescribed and assist with mobility needs.
- Help clients with meal preparation and nutrition planning.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client needs.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a caregiving role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of senior care practices and compassionate caregiving skills.
- Ability to monitor vital signs accurately and respond appropriately to changes in client conditions.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is beneficial but not required.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and families.
