Summary
As a Home Health Aide at FirstLight Home Care, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate support to clients in their homes. This position is essential to our mission of delivering high-quality care that promotes dignity and independence for those we serve.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Medication reminders
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to client dietary needs.
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning and laundry.
- Observe and report any changes in client health or behavior to the supervising nurse or manager.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
- Assist with mobility and physical activities as needed.
- Support family caregivers by providing respite and assistance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or similar role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and families.
- Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Experience in long-term care settings is beneficial but not mandatory.
