Job Description:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our team in Torrington, CT. As a caregiver, you will provide essential support to individuals who need assistance with daily activities. If you are patient, empathetic, and enjoy making a difference in others' lives, we would love to have you on our team!
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Help with mobility and transferring patients from beds, chairs, or other areas.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Monitor clients’ health and well-being, and report any changes to the appropriate team members or family members.
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Administer medication reminders or assist with prescribed treatments.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity while ensuring their safety and comfort.
Requirements:
- Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required; training is provided.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift, bend, and assist with mobility.
- Must pass a background check.
