Job Description

The Director of Government Financial Management will oversee all financial operations, ensuring compliance with government regulations and providing strategic financial guidance to support organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Supervise and mentor a Financial Analyst, providing guidance on financial analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate with department heads to assess financial needs and advise on cost-saving strategies.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years of experience in government financial operations.
  • CPA, MBA, or equivalent professional designation is a plus.
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
  • Proven experience managing and developing a team.
  • Excellent proficiency in financial software and systems.
