Senior Plant Cost Accounting Analyst – Wilmington, DE - $105K
Innovative, global manufacturing company supporting commercial construction industries. Seeking an experienced accountant with inventory and cost accounting experience to support 2 manufacturing plant’s financials and act as the right hand to the Plant Managers. They will have the opportunity to travel 3 times a year
Senior Plant Cost Accounting Analyst - Responsibilities:
- Monthly reporting & analysis - create and present detailed reports for Plant Managers, Directors, and other key stakeholders
- Financial Insights, provide financial and operational reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Data & Opportunity Analysis: Link operational data (e.g., production metrics) with financial outcomes to identify opportunities for improving production
- Assist with financial modeling, annual planning, forecasts and budgeting
- Post-Planning Tracking: After the annual plan is set, track progress and clearly explain any discrepancies to ensure alignment with goals.
- Cost & BOM Management: Ensure cost accuracy by regularly updating the Bill of Materials (BOM) to reflect actual material usage in production.
Senior Plant Cost Accounting Analyst – Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years’ experience in financial analysis, preferably in a multi-site manufacturing
- Background in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management
- Proficient in advanced ERP systems
Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
