- Analyze and maintain standard costs for materials and goods.
- Collaborate with operations to optimize inventory management.
- Monitor product gross margins and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Track inventory levels and report on material, labor, and overhead variances.
- Determine inventory reserves and document findings.
- Manage monthly inventory accounting, adjustments, and reconciliations.
- Prepare month-end journal entries and ensure accurate cost reporting.
- Maintain the cost accounting system in the ERP.
- Coordinate annual inventory counts with external auditors.
- Generate ad-hoc reports on COGS and inventory as needed.
- Support budgeting and forecasting with accurate cost projections.
