What are the responsibilities and job description for the FSU Undergraduate Student Federal Workstudy position at Fitchburg State University?
Admissions Tour Guides / Student Ambassadors will support the efforts of the Admissions Office by enthusiastically leading tours of the campus to prospective students, families, and other visitors of Fitchburg State. Additionally, tour guides will be expected to assist with preparation for all admissions programs and events, attend scheduled meetings and training sessions, contact prospective and admitted students, and assist with the completion of various tasks as needed. Competitive applicants will have broad experiences as Fitchburg State students both socially and academically, and possess the communication skills essential to this position.
Job Requirements:
- Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in good academic & social standing
- A minimum cumulative GPA of a 2.5 or higher
- Ability to comfortably greet visitors and speak in front of groups
- Commitment to professionalism and dependability
- Ability to relate to a diverse population, while articulating the values and benefits of the Fitchburg State student experience to prospective students and families

Shift Information: Varies dependent on class schedule; hourly rate $15.00
