Internship Details:
- 10 weeks: June 2nd – August 8th
- Full time – 40 hours/wk
- Paid – $17/hr
- Greater Philadelphia location – Hybrid Model - 3 days/week in our Home Office in Old City.

Store Maintenance & Repair Program Analysis
- Cost Analysis: Develop spend analysis models to identify opportunities for reducing costs in store programs such as waste collection, rodent proofing and facilities maintenance for 2025.
- Open Top Location Analysis: Review 2024 usage data for Open Top locations and recommend changes based on data to move assets for better efficiency.
- Data Research:
- Investigate locations with high bulk trash pickups and assess whether they should be added to the 2025 Open Top Program
- Review Nest data for Pest Control results analysis & Maintenance work order efficiency analysis.
- Cost Comparison Models: Analyze additional pickup requests at stores versus the cost of daily pickups, creating pivot tables to compare the financial implications and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Vendor Comparison: Review opportunities to convert trash accounts to preferred vendors to reduce costs, focusing on larger landlord accounts (e.g., Brixmor).
- Waste Management Efficiency: Explore opportunities to reduce costs using balers or hauling to ship centers, particularly in high-cost markets, and assess the potential for savings.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint: Strong skills in Excel for data analysis (pivot tables) and PowerPoint for presentation creation.
- Business Analysis & Modeling: Experience in business analysis, spend analysis, and creating financial models to assess cost-saving opportunities. Data Visualization experience a plus.
- Highly Organized & Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple projects, maintain attention to detail, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze data and develop actionable insights for cost reductions.
- Effective Communication Skills: Ability to present complex data and insights in a clear and concise manner through both written reports and presentations.
- Must be actively enrolled as a rising Junior, Senior, Grad Student or recent Grad in Data Analysis, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, Financial Planning & Analysis, Operations or related field
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office products & remote meeting software
- Must have availability for the full 10-week program as space is limited
- Must be a self-starter, highly passionate & detail oriented
- Active ability to problem solve & communicate effectively
- Knowledge and passion for our brand is a plus!
