Warehouse Operations Lead

Job Description

The Warehouse Operations Lead is responsible for efficient and accurate warehouse management, including receiving, storing, and shipping inventory. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment. This position is full-time (40 hours per week), works 12 PM EST - 8 PM EST, and reports to the President of Bright School Kits.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving and Inspection: Thoroughly examine incoming shipments to verify accuracy against order documentation and assess for any damage incurred during transit.
• Inventory Storage: Systematically store inventory items in designated locations, ensuring a safe, organized, and accessible environment.
• Inventory Records: Meticulously maintain precise inventory records within the inventory software system, including item quantities, locations, and relevant transactional data.
• Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and pack customer orders based on provided specifications and documentation.
• Shipping and Dispatch: Prepare and ship orders promptly and efficiently, adhering to carrier requirements and ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
• Team Leadership: Effectively manage and oversee warehouse personnel, providing guidance, delegating tasks, and fostering a productive and collaborative team environment.
• Safety and Compliance: Strictly adhere to all established safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and maintain a secure working environment.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Actively maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained warehouse facility and software, contributing to overall operational efficiency and safety.
